The Laite House: Be Our Guest!

Quarry Hill proudly offers the comforts of the Laite House, a faithfully restored, historic New England home, to residents’ visiting friends and family, as well as to prospective residents interested in sampling the joys of Midcoast Maine.

Located on the Quarry Hill campus, the 1811 Laite House exhibits the character and charm of a traditional home while offering the security and conveniences of today. Within are two separate, furnished apartments: one with one bedroom, bath, eat-in kitchen and living room; another with two bedrooms, bath, eat-in kitchen and living room. Both offer cable television, wireless Internet, telephone, an advanced security system and 24-hour emergency response. Pets are welcome (with deposit).

We invite Laite House guests to join residents for dinner or Sunday brunch in our gracious dining room, located in the Anderson Inn. In addition, guests are welcome to take part in any of several Quarry Hill activities—from movie nights to wine-and-cheese socials—that do not require registration.
